6th grade studies are studying four countries from their social studies curriculum: Germany, England, Russia, and Italy. Amazing art and great connections!
Our 7th and 8th grade students practice scale drawing with animals and teapots, but now we are elevating our work to Presidential greatness. Students are working in teams of three to use a 1:4 ratio to enlarge portraits of the 44 Presidents. Being an election year, serious debates are happening over art!
Students are using recycled cups from a local restaurant to create art on the surface using sharpie. Nothing wraps up the year like a narrative story with pictures!
Students crafted decathedron using 12-themes from a semester of learning! These geo-domes were colorful and picture perfect!
After two firings and some experimental 1970's glaze out coil pots are heading home! They are a beautiful natural mix of blue, green, and cream! Fabulously beautiful!
